Staff Attorney

About this Position

Napa Legal is seeking a full-time staff attorney to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter eager to protect and advance religious liberty and the missions of faith-based nonprofits. While Napa Legal is an exclusively Catholic organization, our resources are designed not just for Catholics, but for all faith-based nonprofits that are similarly promoting and advancing a robust and free civil society.

Napa Legal’s mission is to empower faith-based nonprofits to flourish in the public square. From a practical perspective, this means providing corporate, tax, philanthropic, legal, and other strategic education to nonprofit leaders so they can protect their organizations and achieve their missions. Securing religious liberty is a proactive activity, as most legal battles are already won or lost outside the courtroom. Napa Legal educates leaders on the steps they must take now in order to ensure their nonprofits can avoid litigation, compliance-focused attacks, and unforced errors while carrying out their missions.
