Comprised of legal, financial, and nonprofit professionals, NLI’s working groups serve on a volunteer basis to produce white papers, take on important cases and projects, and help equip and train one another in the specific types of resources and education that lay apostolates need.
Service and Community.
While the benefit of joining an NLIWorking Group is to serve spiritual entrepreneurs in need, it is also an opportunity to highlight your professional profile and organization to NLI’s wider network of attorneys, financial professionals, and lay apostolate leaders.
We seek to address a diverse range of issues that many lay apostolate leaders deal with when trying to incorporate their nonprofits or maintain compliance standards.
Each working group is chaired by one of its members. The chair is responsible for setting the publication and project agenda for their respective working group in collaboration NLI staff. As Catholics, we believe in the principle of subsidiarity and want to empower our members with the tools, independence, and flexibility they need in order to be successful.
