Ian Johanni is a Washington state attorney, father of six, and a devoted Catholic. He attended Ave Maria University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in History, a Minor in Classical Languages, and met his beautiful wife. After two years of teaching in classical schools, he attended Ave Maria School of Law. During his time at AMSL, Ian interned with the Florida Second District Court of Appeals, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Ian began his legal career at a law firm specializing in appellate practice.
Ian was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, but has since lived and worked in four different states and traveled nearly the extent of the continental U.S. As a history major and former teacher, Ian enjoys exploring the balance of cultures, ideologies, and motivations that led this nation to promote individualism and self-governance. He plans to devote his legal career to defending individual rights and human dignity wherever they are in peril.
