Emily Mimnaugh

Emily Mimnaugh is an attorney focused on civil rights and constitutional law.  In 2019, she opened the Nevada Office for Pacific Justice Institute, a national non-profit law firm dedicated to defending fundamental freedoms including religious liberty and other civil rights. Before coming to Nevada, she worked in capital markets and practiced securities law in London.

           

Emily earned her BA from Yale University, with her undergraduate dissertation analyzing religious freedom under the New York State Constitution of 1777.  She earned her Master of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge, with her dissertation evaluating print media and popular attitudes toward religious liberty during the Founding Era.  Emily earned her JD from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!).

 

Emily grew up in Northern California where she became a lifelong tennis fan and supporter of traditional jazz.  She now lives in Northern Nevada near her family and attends St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral.
