Hadyn Pettersen is a litigation associate at Hilgers Graben PLLC in Lincoln, Nebraska.  During the 2024–25 term, Hadyn will clerk for the Honorable Kyle Duncan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  Prior to joining Hilgers Graben, Hadyn was an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis.  Hadyn is a graduate of Notre Dame Law School, where he served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Notre Dame Law Review, President of the St. Thomas More Society, and was a Sorin Fellow with the de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture.  Hadyn also attended Notre Dame as an undergraduate, majoring in history and medieval studies. Hadyn is from eastern Montana, and in his free time enjoys golf and hiking in the badlands.
