Teresita Rios is currently a Fellow at Becket Law or Becket Fund for Religious Liberty.
Before joining Becket, Teresita graduated from Notre Dame Law School in May 2023. While at Notre Dame Law, Teresita interned for Judge Damon R. Leichty at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. She also served as a senior editor on Notre Dame’s Journal of Legislation, and was part of both The Community Development Clinic and the Religious Organizations Lab Class. Beyond her studies, Teresita interned for the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, and was president of Jus Vitae (Right to Life) at the Law School.
Prior to law school, Teresita interned for an immigration law firm and was an AmeriCorps member. She graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles UCLA with a B.A. in political science and a minor in Spanish.
Born and raised in Mexico, Teresita now lives in Alexandria Virginia, and she enjoys spending time with her friends, making new friends, baking, and exploring both nature and town.
