Teresita is an Associate at Compass Legal Group Inc. located in Washington DC. She aids the Tax-exempt, and Nonprofit practice group. Where she focuses on serving religious organizations with their transactional needs. Before starting at Compass, Teresita was honored to be a Fellow at Becket Fund for Religious Liberty. Prior to Becket, Teresita graduated from Notre Dame Law School in May 2023. While in Law School, she interned for the Honorable Damon R. Leichty at the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Indiana, was part of the Religious Organizations Lab Class and the Community Development Clinic, where she aided nonprofits and small businesses, and served as a Senior Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation. Outside of academics, she interned for the Susan B. Anthony Pro Life America, was President of Jus Vitae (Right to Life) at the Law School, as well as being a Sorin Fellow at the DeNicola Center for Ethics and Public Policy.

Prior to law school, Teresita interned for an immigration law firm and was an AmeriCorps member. She graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles UCLA with a B.A. in political science and a minor in Spanish.

Born and raised in Mexico, Teresita now lives in Alexandria Virginia, and she enjoys spending time with her friends, making new friends, baking, and exploring both nature and town.
