Jacob Schlueter

Jacob is currently a mid-level associate at Stinson LLP where he practices complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts around the country. Before joining Stinson, Jacob served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Sarah E. Pitlyk on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Before clerking, he served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Missouri Attorney General’s Special Litigation Division. Jacob obtained his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, where he served as an Article Editor at the WashULaw Jurisprudence Review Journal, was a member of The Federalist Society, and was the Catholic Liaison for the Christian Legal Fellowship. Before attending law school, Jacob was a seminarian for the Archdiocese of St. Louis discerning a vocation to the priesthood at Cardinal Glennon College, which is part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary located in St. Louis. Jacob and his wife Katelyn, along with their four children, live in St. Charles, Missouri. For leisure, Jacob enjoys pulling espresso and pouring cappuccinos, reading novels by Evelyn Waugh, and spending time with his wife and children.
