Nathan Rhodes

Nathan Rhodes is a law clerk to the Honorable Alice M. Batchelder of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He previously practiced as a civil litigator in Dayton, Ohio. He also previously served as a law clerk for Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s Policy and Legislation Section and Senator Rob Portman’s Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee staff. Nathan graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he was President of the Federalist Society, Treasurer of the St. Thomas More Society, and a Managing Editor of the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law. While in law school, he served as a research assistant to Professor Ric Simmons. Nathan received a B.M. in Music Performance and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Dayton. Nathan is a James Wilson Institute Fellow, member of the Dayton Catholic Lawyers Guild, and former Vice President of the Federalist Society’s Dayton Lawyers Chapter. Nathan resides in Medina, Ohio, with his wife, Rachel, and their baby.
