Andrew L. Lessig lives in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he focuses his practice on litigation and appeals in the fields of zoning, land use, and municipal governance. Originally from San Diego, California, he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History becoming the youngest-ever graduate of the University of Alaska in 2014, and went on to graduate from Syracuse University College of Law in 2016. Mr. Lessig has been practicing law in New York’s Catskills and Hudson Valley ever since, first as a prosecutor and later through a legal services organization where he represented veterans and their families who would otherwise have been without representation in their civil legal matters. Mr. Lessig is a revert to the Catholic faith and serves the traditional Latin Mass each Sunday. He is a great lover of the outdoors and enjoys hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, and hunting in his free time.
