Andrew Lessig lives in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley where he enjoys hiking, backpacking, cycling, kayaking, hunting, and fishing in his free time. As an Attorney for the state court system, he represents the elderly and cognitively impaired who lack the capacity to make their own decisions to ensure their rights are protected and to advocate for their interests in determinations made on their behalf regarding their property and medical treatment, including even end-of-life decisions. Originally from San Diego, he attained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Alaska in 2014, went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 2016, and has practiced law in Upstate New York ever since, first as a prosecutor, then advocating for veterans and their families who would otherwise have been without representation in civil legal matters, before most recently representing municipalities in zoning, land use, and municipal governance issues. Mr. Lessig is a revert to the Catholic faith and can be found at a Latin Mass every Sunday.
